This little guy was overdue by over a week! It was a little bit intense at times (to say the least), but overall the birth went really well, and we are happy that he is out, and all is well!
The older two siblings can't get enough of their new baby brother, which is not always a good thing!
Yesterday after we got home from the hospital Jimmy asked, "Mommy, why is your belly still big?" He had a really concerned look on his face, I thought it was funny. I told him that the "balloon" inside my belly still has to shrink down...I wish it were as easy as that!

Ella playing in our sandbox before it became the neighbor go-to area for all cats to poop in! Oh how I hate cats. What gross, germ infested animals. So needless to say, we no longer have sand in our sandbox. We threw it all away. Now we have to figure out what we are going to do for a lid to keep the dumb cats out before we buy a bunch of sand again.

I have put off posting for a really long time. Pretty much since I started my last pregnancy, which I guess is still this pregnancy since I haven't had the baby yet. Due date is the 20th of July. So less than two weeks away! We are very excited. It is a boy.
Ella just learned to climb out of her crib this week. I am sort of glad, so far she has still been really good about taking naps. She has always been a really good sleeper, so hopefully that will stay the same.

EllaKate's First Birthday!!!

We had a really fun time celebrating Ella's birthday. She was lovin her cake!! I mostly video recorded it, at one point she just picked the whole top piece of the cake up and tried to bite it. Words that she says : doll, dada, baba, ssss (her favorite sound!).
She really likes to hit me in the face and then smile. She thinks that it is funny, and every time she does it, she just stares at me to see what I'll do. When I tell her, "No, no Ella." she smiles.

HELLO...
Yeah if you are arachnophobia stricken, this first photo should make you cringe a little. We went out to Antelope Island a few weeks ago for the Farr family reunion, and on our way back down the Kauze way, we started noticing all of these black dots everwhere, and then we were like, "No, it can't be??!", but yeah not even kidding it was!!!....THOUSANDS!!!!, and I mean thousands of ORB spiders in their webs!!! I was so creeped out, seriously gross. They had webs lining anything and everything for like two miles. I didn't even dare get out the car to take this photo!!

Ella and Jimmy ready for Sunday. I loved this dress for Ella I picked up at Janie & Jack. I had never been. It was a little frilly, but had some really cute stuff.
So with summer almost over, I am still battling the "I need to work out" bug. I can't seem to get with it. Maybe it's because I bought way too much fabric, and now I am constantly thinking about how I need to sew any spare second I have?! At least the weddings are done that I had the last couple weekends. So crazy. We went on vacation with the Rawson side of the family and it was a lot of fun. We stayed in a cabin in Heber. It was really beautiful scenery everywhere! It is great to get outdoors.

One little super cute, crazy baby! Oh my, look at those two little teeth! They popped up about two weeks ago, like a day apart! She is trying so hard to crawl! She will take the position, and then just rock, and then get mad that she can't move! Tonight, she pulled herself up into sitting position after being on her belly! It was really cute! Poor little Ella has to deal with me kissing her little chubber face to pieces on a daily basis. In the top photo I was trying to get a shot of Ella's little "whale spout" on the top of her head. It's her first little pony tail!
Life has been crazy, but I guess that is because I am just a crazy person in general. Modernthread (my special little business, that doesn't really make me any money, because I spend it faster than I can make it back of fabric!! lol)...anyway, I am doing better with that, but I just can't seem to get anything done these days. I have the Bijou Market coming up on June 5th in Orem, and I am not sure that I will even get very much done for it! I have been sewing lots and lots of pillows for orders on Etsy.

GROWIN WITH THE GRASS!
Ella is now 6 mos. old, the pediatrician said that she is growing like a weed! She is 28" long and a couple ounces away from 20 lbs. We just love her to pieces! She is rollin all over the place lately.

Here is how I found jimmy a few nights ago when I was checking on him after he had gone to sleep! He is obsessed with this book that we got from the library. Although he is a little confused. He thinks this is a book about spiderman. Spiderman, Superman...I mean really what's the diff right?

This is what Jimmy left behind before he came in for dinner. I can't tell you how many times I have swept the dirt off the concrete! He is just a boy who loves dirt! Matt and I are going to try and build him a sandbox this summer. Hopefully that will keep the garden dirt from being spread around all over the place!

We had a crazy little hail storm a couple weeks ago. Jimmy thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Ella is sitting up a little now. She is very tipsy, but will stay up for a couple minutes by herself sometimes!

Little Ella Kate...we love her, and Jimmy.
Last night we were having a fun time at the local library. Jimmy loves the library, but he was getting a little hyper, because it was past his bedtime, so he tripped and hit his head on the floor, and started crying way loud. Then on the way home Matt stops at Target to get something, Jimmy starts whining...and then hacks a cough...and then of course starts barfing all over the car. Yeah, that was fun. So we had to hurry and drive home with pizza barf smell. I need to make him a plastic poncho for the car or something!!

Ella's Blessing

We blessed Ella this week, her blessing dress was made 27 years ago by my grandma Roane. It was the same dress that I wore on my blessing day. I think that the dress is so perfect. It has beautiful hand stitching details on it and I hope that my grand daughter's can wear it too!
Ella was so sweet on her blessing day, we are so glad she is part of our family!

..Oh the joys of motherhood. I love my kids, but I sure feel like a crazy person lately. Two year old-ism's are just too much to handle sometimes. Jimmy keeps me busy, he is trying to be so independent everyday, oh man, I just don't even know what the next day will bring! He is a handful of trouble right now, he gets into to everything and he is a recorder of everything that I say to him. He will eventually use it against me. Like, "Don't you talk to me like that." and "I said NO!" He colored on Matt's laptop and our kitchen table a couple days ago with a permanent marker that I forgot to put up ( oh yeah and his pumkin, which he pointed out to us when we were lecturing him, he said, "I drawed eyes!") . He has thrown up twice on his carpet in the last week, because he is throwing a tantrum. Just another day in the life of a two year old.

MEET ELLA...

So, she turned out to be an October baby instead of a September one. She arrived on the 5th of October. Nothing like 36 hours of labor! (I successfully avoided a c-section delivery this time around, which was great.) I had a 24 hour labor with Jimmy. I guess each child is trying to out-do the last!? Yikes. Needless to say she is here and healthy and for that we are super, super grateful! I look forward to posting more pics of her, when I can steal my bro's nice camera!

Come on September 30th!! Two more days...the never ending September. I was reading a magazine today with a psychiatrist's opinion on how far you should space your children. I think it is up to each individual, but anyhow, I found it interesting that she said a child at age three is not as threatened by a new baby in the family because they are more confident in themselves, and in knowing that you love and accept them. So it will be interesting to see how Jimmy handles being a big bro, since he is only two!! I think he will have fun with a new baby in the house. It seems very natural to expand the family unit and I think kids are in tune with that.

TEN FOR TUESDAY

1. We made it to the county fair in Salt Lake this last weekend. Jimmy had so much fun on the horse, he was super mad when the guy took him off the horse after his turn was over...he really kind of threw a fit! You forget that your kids at 2 yrs of age don't realize that the fun has to come to and end...?
2. Next was the helicopter with his cousins and his dad...yeah that is right-- this is Matt on the kiddie ride! I don't know if they intended that BIG of kids to ride....Matt said the helicopter started shaking when he tried to make it go up and down.

3. I have been a mad sewing pregnant woman lately!! I am thinking that the more I get done before the next baby the better.

4. Jimmy has mastered climbing out of his crib as of last Tuesday...it used to be just with the rail down a few days before that, then he got out during his nap while the rail was all the way up! So he will not take naps anymore...yay for me...not really.

5. As I waddle out of my car at the local Target I get irritated that the handicap parking spots can't be used by 8+ mos. pregnant woman...I mean seriously?

6. I go in for an ultra sound on this Thursday because I am worried that the baby is getting huge, I just worry about everything under the sun in the last weeks of pregnancy.

7. My sis and her husband are moving to GreenRiver on Friday...from what I hear, it is pretty much a ghost town, but I guess we will find out more about it as they live there for the next while. We are so excited for them, but sad. Don't any of ya'll go speeding through Price or GreenRiver or you will have to answer to Officer Ellsworth!!
8. Here is one of my fav patterns in fabric land. I bought some of the light green and white one to make stuff out of for the upcoming craft shows. The dark green one is my favorite!!! But I got the other one for a great price.

9. The other day Matt and I watched that piece on Kayne West stealing Taylor Swifts spotlight...seriously what is wrong with people like him??

10. I am super excited for this baby to come!! I am glad Jimmy will be getting a little sister. He likes to give her "love pats"...except that is just what he calls them so that he doesn't get in trouble for hitting! Funny little guy. The other day Matt was lecturing him about something that he did and Jimmy said, "You have blue eyes."

Jimmy jumped off the sofa last Thursday I think it was, and ended up fracturing his foot. The orthopedic specialist said that he did break his foot in two different places near the top of his foot before his toes start. But, also acted like it wasn't all that bad, which is good, Jimmy will just have to wear this little sandal thing for a couple of weeks while it heals all the way.

But I found the duvet cover on ebay, for a pretty good deal, and the bedskirt on clearance at Anthropologie. I made the green bird pillow. I never thought I would still be looking at that awful ceiling fan, but I am...slowly but surely things will be changed!!

We went and had some summer fun at Lagoon this weekend. It was fun for Jimmy to be able to ride with his cousin Blake. It was even more fun for us to watch him! We were there from like 10:30 in the morning to about 10:00 at night. We went home soaking wet and freezing cold!! That is because we went on Rattle Snake Rapids three times right before we left. Then we had a "melt down throw up session" by Jimmy before the night was over..."Lagoon, it's what fun is"...!

Jimmy has learned the value of licking the spatula. These were some pretty good chocolate, chocolate chip cookies. Although I have really struggled lately with my cookies to get them the right consistency. They are either flat or have too much flour in them.

MOAB 2009
Here are some pics of our recent trip to Moab. We had lots of fun!

Jimmy loves to fly. He loves it when daddy throws him up in the air! I know he won't drop him...but it still makes me nervous!

This was at "hole in the rock" I suggest anyone who goes to Moab take a visit to this tourist spot. It is where a man carved his family's home out of the red rock. They don't let you take pictures of the tour (lame) otherwise I would have posted them!

So Matt + I have decided to do a trade off...he kills all the spiders if I change all the poopy diapers! He hates pooper diapers more and I hate spiders more. I think he is pretty much getting the better end of the deal, but he did have to kill this way big nasty spider the other day, and that gave me plenty of satisfaction about the deal!

Yeah this pillow that I sewed for someone gave me heck yesterday. Two times I zipped the zipper right off the teeth!! So there went two invisible zippers down the hole. It was maddening. So then after the grueling hour or two that it took me to finally finish the pillow I figured out that I had ended up with the zipper stop being at the top of the pillow instead of the bottom (where it should be.) Nice. Anyway I love this fabric! I have been going pillow crazy trying to finish sewing pillows for the piper and chloe botique. Please come everyone that can! It will be a great place to find your mother's day gift...and maybe a little splurge for yourself too!!

Sad news for me, my camera broke! It didn't just break by itself of course, it took Jimmy pushing the lens in to do so! Yeah, not so good for a 21 month old child to handle a camera?! So I won't have a camera for who knows how long.

I got Jimmy a toy vacuum the other day, he absolutely loves it! He is so funny. I don't know why, but the kid is just fascinated by vacuums! This one is real cute, it even has hot pink on it, (didn't they realize when making it that boys want to be housekeepers too?) Anyway, it keeps a smile on his face.

Matt just celebrated his 28th birthday on April 1st! It was during the party festivities that the camera was grabbed and broken by Jimmy!!I got these shoes for Jimmy from Zappos.com to wear for summer. They seem like they will hold up really well, like Keen's are suppose to. I think they are the perfect blend between and sandal and a shoe. They are antimicrobial too...Bonus!! jk. Anyway, we can afford them because Matt's work gives out incentives to keep people up on their health, like regular doctor visit's and stuff. So a couple of times a year we get these vouchers in x amount of dollars, good at a certain retailers and restaurants, it is pretty sweet!

I have been meaning to post some pics of the things we have done in our house, but I am a little weary to do so, because it's not all the way done yet, but a lot has been done to get us moved in! We still have to replace all the light fixtures in the whole house. All the bedrooms have these fans in them that hang down too low and don't put off near enough light!

In this bedroom we tore off all the dated paneling, put up new sheet rock , and insulated the walls. (I act like we did this work ourselves, but we hired out for it, which was nice!!). Along with that we also ripped out all the old moldings and replaced them with new ones all throughout the house...now that was pain!!! All the window moldings and door headers were added as well.

This room had just the one wall sheet rocked over the paneling, because the panels was glued down for life. Serious, there was no getting that stuff off unless we tore down the whole wall!!

I already posted some progress photos of us refinishing the wood floors in this room. I plan to paint the shelving on the back wall, and replace the chandelier with something a little more modern. Plus I have to figure out how to cover the holes in the wall where the sconces were. My vision for this room was to make it very neutral with pops of color. The rug matches great, but I eventually want to find one a little less flowery.

As you can see we still have lots to do in this room, even though I feel like we have done lots to it already!! We still have lighting, tile and painting to do!! (Yikes!!) Painting the cabinets was rough. I have a short attention span, so for me, seeing this painting project though until it was done was a challenge. But I am happy with the way it turned out. I choose a black floating glass Jenn-air dishwasher and fridge for their clean look.

I cut Jimmy's hair last week, so I was enjoying these photos that show his hair before I buzzed it!

Well, we have the internet finally! Yay! We have pretty much been going crazy these last couple of months trying to finish our house, (which is still not all the way finished) and moving in...which we still have not unpacked a lot of the boxes. I am no help at all, that is for sure. I am at the end of my first trimester on the second time around being pregnant, so basically I just hibernate all day. I am hoping as soon as the spring hits, it will help me snap out of this funk!! ( Funk, as in the being sick part!)

Pardon our dust, here are some progress photos. Thanks to a great neighbor friend that we have hired we have been able to get so much done in a short amount of time. He does awesome work!! Our expectations have been surpassed. Things are really starting to transform from grandma house (no offense!)...to a clean modern space! It is hard for me to pick everything, because it's my own house, and there are just so many different styles that I like and can appreciate!!! Well, and everything on a budget is a lot harder to accomplish, but I have to say I have been finding some pretty amazing deals!

Matt + I had fun doing the floors together. We only stained and refinished the front room, hallways, and one bedroom. The other spaces will all be re-carpeted. (which I hate that carpet is so dang expensive!!) Total working days, it probably took about 3. Which isn't too bad, but we spread it over about a two week period, so it seemed a lot longer.

This photo's coloring is not completly accurate. But, I was trying to achieve a concrete look for the countertops (on a budget of course!) so instead of using real concrete or a quartz stone which is about $40-$70 S.F., I used this Pionite brand laminate and had our G.C. build up the countertop one more level so it would be a little thicker. I also kept all the corners sharp! So, you know hopefully no one decides to bash their head into that sharp corner on the edge, that wouldn't be good?!
I am in the process of painting the cabinets. I painted one door last night, and wasn't to certain that I liked the color that I picked. I am using an oil base, semi-gloss. I found a Benjamin Moore color that I liked, it's a stoney brownish color. The problem is when I put it up on the cabinet last night it looked like dark lavender!!! I was horrified. But then it started to look a lot better when it dried more. I am just worried it won't quite be the right hue.

Things are not so smooth this week. Both Matt and I have full blown sore throats and fevers. So, needless to say progess is slow on the house. Although we took advantage of having our handy bro-in-law in from out of town! He helped us strip the floors and get them ready to stain. Here's a few pics of the progress....We have since stained them, I will get pics for that as well. Matt + I are planning a fun filled day of putting on the polyurethane on Saturday.

I am driving myself crazy trying to pick out a countertop that will look good with mis- matched appliances! We were able to get a new fridge and dishwasher, but the fridge, which is black is going to right next to the oven, which is white? Yikes! Yeah. Not the most energy efficient set up either, but our master plan involves a total kitchen remodel in the future. Hopefully the kitchen will be done in less than two weeks. We still have to paint the whole house, put in new flooring and put up all new moldings!! There is so much to do, and so little time ( and money!!!) :)

TEN FOR TUESDAY

1. Jimmy enjoying the Holidays. We had fun on Christmas, you can certainly tell who had the most fun out of anyone else. We got Jimmy a Mr. Potatoe head, when we opened up the box, he took the naked potatoe head out and said ball, and threw it to me. I guess it kind of does look like a football?

2. I can't tell you how much I hate cleaning up barf!! Our little Jimmy is a barfing machine. THREE TIMES THIS WEEK!! It's so great to scrub barf out of carpet. Seriously. I don't think he is lactose intolerant, but I will bring it up at our next doctor visit, because he barfs really easy. He has a super sensitive gag reflex and just lets it all loose if he gags at all.

3. Speaking of which I feel like I have totally lost the ball when it comes to feeding Jimmy right. He has been drinking way too much milk, and so then when I go to feed him he is not hungry. Well today I have started only giving him water in his sippy cup, and that has done wonders. I could probably write a really good book on how to be a clueless parent, but it probably wouldn't sell very well.
4. What do you do when your child is crying in the car? Give them a really messy treat. Yeah another really great idea that I could put in my book!!
5. Matt was like, "You're cleanin this one up!"
6. I love these modern door levers. They are so sweet, but their price is unreal. Seriously, how much would you pay for a door knob? Ok, well I just about fell over in my chair when I saw the price of one that I was looking at, that was $600! I serioulsy think that there is a typo or something, I mean that just can't be real? These ones below are around the $200-$300 range. Now that's being thrifty!! jk, obviously.
7.I feel like I got a pretty decent steal on a pair of sofas. Brand new leather sofas by Ethan Allen. A compromise for Matt + I. I wanted modern, he wanted leather. Everything was out of our price range, till these popped up! They are a great size too, 100" long. So they are not spankin' brand new, but they were only used as display furniture in a parade of homes house. But the ones I got are not dark, they are a camel color.
8. Is something going around. Both me + Matt have not felt good today. I wonder if it's some sort of feverish thing going around.
9. Here comes the new year. . .any resolutions? I don't think too much about it personally. I am always trying to change bad habits that I have, like blogging too much, and putting sewing before important things. What is your New Year's resolution?

TEN FOR TUESDAY

1. Christmas is just around the corner, so very Merry Christmas to you all! I feel bad I didn't send out cards this year. I just decided to take a break. Plus I am living out of boxes when it comes to my design stuff, so its just not feasible!
2. Oh joy, for a new little niece! Evelyn Jan is her name and she is such a sweetie pie! So tiny!!
3. Here is Jimmy decked out in his winter apparel. Yummin down a fruit by the foot.4. Jimmy is starting to really talk it up. He is saying lots of new words everyday, and lots of words that don't make sense! One of our favorites is "But" for button.
5. Okay, seriously I have the worse time when it comes to turning my headlights off!! Our car has an auto setting and a manual setting. But when it is a blizzard outside the auto setting doesn't turn the headlights on so I turn them on manually. Well I have killed our battery three times this season already! And it always happens when it is snowing and freezing cold outside!!! I get so mad! I was not a happy camper on Monday when I did again, and Matt had to leave work to come and help!
6. We got our electrical outlets in our bathrooms! Yay, very exciting!
7. I painted my mother-in-law's bathroom this week. I used a color I wouldn't usually pick, but I think it turned out pretty good.
8. I am still trying to determine a color palette for my new house. I really like the thought of using really light clean neutrals, mixed with pops of color. Some of my favorite colors right now are red orange, chartruese and turquoise. Now, yes that sounds scarey on a wall, but I think they could look very classic when in the right scheme.
9. Anybody saved their wrapping for the last minute? Not me, I have all my gifts wrapped and ready to go! Easy to do when you only have one child!
10. Sorry not much interesting stuff to say this week. Plus I am typing this way too late at night, and I really can't think??!

TEN FOR TUESDAY BLOG JOURNAL
1. I was VERY upset yesterday after losing this beautiful faux bamboo Pagoda light fixture on Ebay!!! I wasn't even paying attention to the bidding time, and I barely lost the stupid win by $1.50! I shouldn't still be lamenting over it, but I really wanted it!!! I was going to fix it up into something like the picture of the yellow one (piecesinc.com) In fact the person who won it was probably the place who is selling the yellow one for nearly $1800!!! What a joke!! Now I will never find another one!

2. Okay, now that I am getting over that... Matt is still out of town till tomorrow, then we have to got Christmas shopping for some people. We do a gift exchange between siblings in Matt's family. Now tell me what do you get for your brother-in-law? I was thinking of sewing him something?...like a decor pillow? jk
3. My brother just had his first child born this last week on Dec. 9th. He is soo cute! How great for them!
4. I am super overwhelmed by what I am going to do for my own house, my head has been spining! I want a really simple, modern, vintage, eclectic feel. Too bad a lot of the money that we have saved is going to the electrical work!!! Wee that's fun for a designer to spend money on!? (But don't get me wrong I am very glad we are having it done!) Seriously,
there were no outlets in the bathrooms!! I have already suffered through one house without outlets in the bathroom, please not again!!
5. I always have a better day when I sale something on Etsy! Yay for a sale today!!
6. I do not like cold weather. But I thought today, I probably wouldn't appreciate the sweet times of spring, summer and fall if I didn't hate the winter so much! I am very insightful. ;)
7. I get so cranky when my cute little Jimmy wakes up at 3:00 in the morning with his fire siren cry! Oh man can I just sleep please!!
8. Fun in the snow, this was the first time Jimmy has really been able to actually walk in the snow! These are his new snow boots that Matt bought for him in Vegas! They are huge, but he loves them! This morning he walked right over to them and said, "bout" and he has had them on the whole day today!
9. Wow, Christmas is very close by. I am kind of a grinch, even my mom says that I look like the Grinch...thanks mom! Anyway, I read an article in the Ensign last night by President Monson saying how the Christmas spirit is the Christ spirit. I like how he said that we become more interested in people than in things. Thats something I want to always keep in mind. I tend to get caught up too much on things...you know kind of like that pagoda chandelier I talked about on no.1
10. We had a Christmas get together with my dad's side of the family. It was great to see everyone all at the same time, because we don't get together as often as we did when we were younger, and everyone wasn't married with kids of their own. But, it's nice to see everyone once in a while!!

TEN FOR TUESDAY MY MINI BLOGGING JOURNAL

1. Thanks for Jessica, I am copying her blog idea because I have temporarily lost my journal so I need to start tracking things that have been going on, and what better way to do than "ten for tuesday" !!! (...Thanks jess!)
2. It was my Birthday on the 6th of December. I am now the big 26 hard to believe how fast time goes by! It was lots of fun. I got this way cool water bottle called the "Kors hydration vessel" I think its pretty neato.
I got a really nice grill from Jim + Becky that I am excited to use. My parents got me a couple cute sweaters. Thanks for making it a special dayl!! :) I also got some boot, but I am still deciding if I like them or not?!
3. This is another gift from my birthday...a bias tape binder for my sewing machine. Well its suppose to work with my machine, but I haven't quite figured it out yet. Oh how it would certainly make my life easier if I could get it to work for me...so far its only caused me to turn into Katie-Ka-Boom.

4. My other half is out of town this whole week till late Friday!!! Tax seminars...ohh fun!! Then he goes to Orlando next week for a few days. So that why I am typing this at 12:50 in the morning.

5. Last night as I was driving back to our temp home Jimmy looked out the window and said, "house". Its so cute how he will just randomly say words. He will randomly point to my elbow, and say, "elbow". Its funny what they pick up on. He says a lot of weird words that I can't understand, like "Ba-doo" when he wants the lotion bottle. He says, "dunk" for drink. At church on Sunday he looked at me with that look that only means one thing, and said, "poo". I was glad, because that is the first time he has actual told me that he has gone poo poo in his diaper! He only goes potty when I set him on it, he won't tell me if he needs to go. Any progress is good though right?

6. We closed on our new house!! So its all final. Now its time to get down and dirty with all the work that needs to be done with it!! It's in really good condition, was only owned by one person since it was built in 1957! They took really good care of the house! It will be a work in progress, I will be posting before and afters as we go along. Not sure how much fun stuff we will be able to squeeze in! We couldn't be more excited to be living in Bountiful still, and only a street over from our old house!!

7. I did my first holiday botique type of thing. It was called the "Piper & Chloe Holiday Showcase" I would have sent out invites to everyone I know, but I didn't get them in time. :( But it was lots of fun, and lots of really neat vendors involved. It was held in a really nice house on the east bench in Farmington. I was happy with the $ that I made, it was a good experience and good way to branch out.

8. It snowed today..yuck. I hate snow. I want to be in San diego. Okay I don't mind it until Christmas, but then I hate it.

9. I am running out of things to say...

I need to go to bed earlier. I feel like I am behind on sleep for like the past week and it just keeps piling up!! Sorry if none of this makes sense, that was a lot to type in one night!

Shoes I found from an ebay seller. He sells a few different styles, you should check them out! They are leather and only $10 (+6.95 shipping) I thought that was a pretty good deal. They have really cute girl ones too.

Trouble. That's all Diesel is for me. I bought this jacket for J, but I felt like it was more of a guilty pleasure than anything else, so I returned it. I decided to take a photo, and remember it that way. Pretty pathetic. Jimmy is really funny lately when we take pics of him, he looks right at the camera and smiles!...Oh and good news, for the first time yesterday, I got Jimmy to use the big potty! It was pretty amazing! I was so excited.

I was going to go all out and do the whole superman costume, but with us moving I just couldn't quite manage it, hence the safety pin closure on his cape. I made his superman shirt during his nap one day, and just that alone took me about 3 hours from start to finish!

So long little house! We are going to miss this great location most of all! It's been such a nice area to live. It is currently under contract as of a couple of weeks ago. So we will see if everything goes smooth as planned. If so we will be moving out at the end of the month. We are going to start looking for another house soon...we thought that would be a good idea, you know since we're not going to have one soon!?

Oh my goodness, as funny as this is to watch him put the milk away, I wish I could have got the face he was pulling when he first lifted up the milk jug!! I have not posted in a week or two...well its because I have been trying to get things made for my Etsy shop. But thats not happening as fast as I thought. I got sick last tuesday with a sinus cold, then right as I was getting over it our whole family got the stomach flu on Sunday (just in time for Labor day!) so yeah. Jimmy has been throwing up for three days! Finally today is the fourth day and he hasn't thrown up again, thankfully! No one every told me about the B.R.A.T. diet?? Anyway now that we are sticking to that things are better.

Its been a blast in San Diego this week! I got burned right from the get-go. The sun is deceiving here, because its a little cloudy and breezy, but you still get lots of sun. Me and Matt went out snapped some "buck-naked" shots of Jimmy. He will love these ones when he is older.

Today is our last day here, so we are going to spend most the day on the beach getting red as lobsters and boogie boarding!

My new hair cut. Its perty darn short for me! I think I cut off about 6 inches! and thats after cutting off about 4 inches a couple months ago!
